Applications

• Suitable for use in applications where maintenance costs (high ceilings, difficult to reach) and disruptive costs are high (stopping of production process, closure of tunnels), or where lamp failure is not acceptable for e.g. safety reasons: tunnels, process, food and petrochemical industries

• When used on electromagnetic gear, it is strongly recommended to apply only Philips S10 or S10E starters (for 18W types S2 or S2E) to achieve the published lifetimes, and to install new starters when relamping.
• A lamp breaking is extremely unlikely to have any impact on your health. If a lamp breaks, ventilate the room for 30 minutes and remove the parts, preferably with gloves. Put them in a sealed plastic bag and take it to your local waste facilities for recycling. Do not use a vacuum cleaner.
